1st Sunday Situation quiet except for artillery duels.
2nd Monday Battalion relieved by 5th North Staffs. Regt.
  "J" CAMP OUDERDOM
3rd Tuesday Cleaning arms, ammunition, equipment etc.
4th Wednesday Platoon and arms drill. Bayonet fighting.
5th Thursday Rapid loading, bayonet fighting etc.
6th Friday Route march.
7th Saturday Route march, bayonet fighting and rapid loading.
8th Sunday Sunday.
9th Monday Battalion moved into dugouts at Kruisstraat continuing as Divisional reserve.

10th Tuesday Battalion relieved 1/5th Norths Staffs Regt. in the trenches at Hill 60.
11th Wednesday Situation quiet.
12th Thursday Situation quiet.
13th Friday Situation quiet.
14th Saturday Situation quiet.
15th Sunday Situation quiet.
16th Monday Situation quiet.
  ZILLEBEKE
17th Tuesday Battalion relieved in the trenches by the 1/5th North Staffs Regt. and went into the Railway Dugouts, Zillebeke as Brigade reserve.
18th Wednesday Digging parties and fatigue parties.
19th Thursday Digging parties and fatigue parties.
20th Friday Digging parties and fatigue parties.
21st Saturday Digging parties and fatigue parties.
22nd Sunday Digging parties and fatigue parties.

23rd Monday The Battalion relieved 5th North Staffs Regiment in the trenches.
24th Tuesday Situation quiet.
25th Wednesday Night of 24/25th August 1915 5th Lincolns reported having heard sound of working under right end of trench 41. The matter was immediately reported to the 175th Coy. R.E. who on investigation confirmed the opinion of the 5th Lincolns. The Engineers at once took the matter in hand and 3 a.m. commenced boring with the intention of finding the CAMOULFLET. This was done at 7.30 a.m. 25.8.15
26th Thursday At 12.53 a.m. 26.8.15, according to instructions R.E. Mining Company exploded a mine 10 to 12 feet below the bottom of the crater made by the camoulflet on the 25.8.15 with the result that the crater was enlarged and the R.E. reported that nothing could possibly be left underneath now.
27th Friday A 7.15 a.m. 175th Mining Company reported hearing sounds of a truck being moved up and down a gallery in front of the listening post in 14 mine. It was decided to bore and fire a charge. This was done and the mine was fired at 10.50 a.m., and the engineer reported that it was sucessful.
28th Saturday Situation quiet except for occasional artillery duels.
29th Sunday Situation quiet, very little shelling by the enemy, or our own.
30th Monday Situation quiet.

31st Tuesday Situation quiet except for artillery duels.
