2nd Friday Battalion practised ‘The Attack’.
3rd Saturday Battalion at disposal of Company Commanders for interior economy.

6th Tuesday Battalion practised bayonet fighting. Physical exercises. The Battalion marched to HUMBERCAMP.

Battalion relieved the 1/5th Leicestershire Regiment in the trenches.

Quiet day.
Battalion was relieved in the trenches by 1/5th Leicestee Regiment and proceeded to old billets at SUS-ST-LEGER arriving there at 6.30 a.m.

20th Tuesday The Battalion practised ‘The Attack’.
21st Wednesday Battalion at disposal of Company Commanders for interior economy.
22nd Thursday Battalion marched to SOUASTRE

23rd Friday Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
24th Saturday Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
25th Sunday Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
26th Monday Bathing. Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
27th Tuesday Bathing. Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
28th Wednesday Working parties found for the trenches as FONQUEVILLERS.
29th Thursday Operations to be carried out on 29-6-1916 cancelled. See War Diary for 1-7-1916.
30th Friday

The Battalion proceeded to the trenches at FONQUEVILLERS at 8.45 p.m.
