2223 Private Ewart Barratt
1/6^th Battalion, The South Staffordshire Regiment

Died 27th May 1915 aged 16
Ewart Barratt was the youngest soldier from the Staffordshire Territorial battalions to die during their tour of duty in the Wulverghem sector. He had joined the 6^th South Staffords at Wolverhampton shortly before the outbreak of the war. Son of Sarah Ann Barratt, of 104 Napier Road, Wolverhampton, and the late George Barratt.

He is buried in St Quentin Cabaret, Plot I Row E Grave 17
